Point of view-Catching Fire

The Point of view in Catching fire is narrated in second person. The person that narrates the story is the main character, Katniss. I think that the author chose to tell the story from this point of view because it helps the readers understand more of the storyline. You also get a better understanding of what it is like to go through the experience of the hunger games because you get to read about her emotions and her opinions on everyone else in the story. This can be humorous sometimes because Katniss has a more judgmental personality. I would not change the point of view of the story, because I don't think it would have been the same. Maybe though if you were a boy who was reading the story it would be maybe be more interesting for the series to be told from Peeta's perspective because they could possibly relate to him more than Katniss.
